The First Sea Lord to attend World Maritime Day

We are pleased to announce that the head of the Royal Navy, Admiral Sir Jonathon Band KCB ADC, will attend the celebrations to mark World Maritime Day.
As the First Sea Lord and Chief of the Naval Staff, Sir Jonathon is the head of the World’s second most powerful navy. It is expected that Sir Jonathon will arrive by river onboard one of the Royal Navies launches.
