Book Launch at World Maritime Day

Sea Stories:
The National Maritime Museum is publishing Sea Stories, a collection of sixteen short stories inspired by the sea from some of Britain and Ireland’s finest contemporary writers. Sea Stories is specially commissioned to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the opening of the National Maritime Museum and will be published on 27th September World Maritime Day.
The stories have been commissioned from an impressive line-up of British and Irish authors: Desmond Barry, Chris Cleave, Margaret Elphinstone, Niall Griffiths, Tessa Hadley, Roger Hubank, Charles Lambert, Sam Llewellyn, Robert Minhinnick, Nick Parker, Jim Perrin, James Scudamore, Martin Stephen, Erica Wagner, John Williams and Evie Wyld.
