Careers at Sea with the Royal Navy
There exists a tremendous range of opportunities for motivated individuals with the Royal Navy and Marines. From navigating a frigate, to flying a lynx, the team onboard will rely on you to have the right skills to ensure the RN operates as a force for good.
The minimum qualifications required for officer entry will be 5 GCSEs or equivalent (including Maths and English) and 140 UCAS points. The 140 UCAS points now takes into account 'A' Levels, 'AS' Levels, Vocational Certificate of Education, Key Skills and 1-Unit Awards. (This is effectively equivalent to 2 good A level passes and 5 GSCE's if you received your 'A' levels before July 2001).
